Digital Skills Tutor
Location – Ellesmere Port
Salary: £26,000 (Sessional, ongoing contract with potential extension)
Contract Type: Ongoing Sessional – 3 weeks Guaranteed
 
About the Role
Trigon Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading National Training Provider, rated Good by Ofsted (Grade 2). We are seeking a passionate and motivated Digital Skills Tutor to support learners.
In this rewarding role, you will empower individuals to build their confidence and develop essential digital skills needed for everyday life and the modern workplace. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong people skills, a flair for training, and a genuine commitment to helping others succeed.
Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging non-accredited digital skills training sessions, covering topics such as email use, online safety, Microsoft Office basics, and navigating online platforms.
  • Provide hands-on IT support, including setting up email accounts, using attachments, and accessing online services.
  • Support learners to develop confidence in using digital tools for daily tasks, communication, and employability.
  • Deliver both group workshops and tailored 1:1 digital coaching to meet individual learner needs.
  • Set clear, achievable targets and track learner progress using the company database.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong IT literacy with confidence in teaching basic to intermediate digital skills.
  • Proven experience in training delivery or mentoring, ideally within digital inclusion, adult education, or skills development.
  • Ability to work effectively with learners of varying ability levels.
  • Comfortable facilitating both group workshops and individual coaching sessions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire.
  • Organised, target-driven, and able to manage learner progression effectively.
  • A genuine passion for helping people achieve their goals and become confident digital users.
  • Commitment to being available for the duration of the contract.
